A Tale of Timeless Fashion, Lakme Fashion Week 2021.

With that thought, NEXA has stood at the forefront in terms of associations with huge global events, one of which is FDCI x Lakme Fashion Week. In the post-pandemic world, the way people look at fashion has changed, their lifestyles and experiences have been modulated. LFW, India’s premier fashion event has reinvented modern fashion shows and given everyone new ways to express themselves freely. With that outlook, NEXA curated LFW content for its social channels under the theme of ‘Freedom x Fashion’.

In its latest edition, Lakme Fashion Week presented by NEXA was hosted in October’21, in a Phygital format. This time around, India’s renowned fashion designer, Anamika Khanna curated NEXA’s show, the most awaited show at the Lakme Fashion Week. Anamika presented her collection based on the theme “Precision” which caught everyone’s eyes. Precision and structure make the base for any magnificent piece of art. For Anamika Khanna, every brushstroke seems like a masterstroke on the canvas, when she sets out to create something new and inspiring.

This latest collection of hers and her design of this season’s NEXA show was a true reflection of this thought and flowed seamlessly along with NEXA’s persona and philosophy. Every piece from her collection spoke of precision, modernity, versatility and Shraddha Kapoor added to the glamour, as the showstopper for the NEXA show. Fashion week also saw celebrities like Dia Mirza, Taapsee Pannu, Kareena Kapoor, Malaika Arora, Soha Ali Khan, and many more as showstoppers, for designers like Gaurav Gupta, Gaurang Shah, Abraham And Thakore.

NEXA Presents The Spotlight is a unique platform devised by NEXA to provide an opportunity for budding fashion designers to showcase their art and collections. Winners for its second edition were Shweta Gupta and Naushad Ali, who presented their collections in an interactive and experiential manner through a digital film.

This season saw The NEXA Ciaz up in the display. Powered by the redefined K15 B petrol engine, The Ciaz combines the best of premium looks, revolutionary technology, and luxury. Lakme Fashion Week has always been about celebrating premium art, unmatchable experiences, and the presence of NEXA Ciaz testified the same. Shraddha Kapoor entered the center stage in the Ciaz which was embracing a slick and stylish Anamika Khanna wrap. This black and white illustrated wrap was specially created in line with her AK-OK label concept.
